Autumn is with us and once again mother nature provides us with opportunities to photograph her work. Here we have the fruits from the Horse Chestnut tree (Aesculus Hippocastanum), the fruits commonly called conkers. Gathered on my morning walk a few days ago.
It amazes me how shiny conkers are when they come out of their shell, who polishes them? lol
