There are improvements at Hardwick Hall this year: a new visitors centre, including shops, snackery and the Barn Restaurant. The improvements cost in the region of £6.5m The new car park is huge too.

Moon photographed Sunday 1st April 2012, Weston on Trent, hand held 1/320 @ f5.6 ISO 200. Nikkor lens 55-300mm. Effective focal length 450mm. Nice crater detail at the terminator, this is where the dark and light parts meet. The image is about a 50% crop out of the original image.

Members of the HotHouse Big Band and Screaming Kicks. The latter band are giving concerts in New York for ten days beginning Sunday 1st April 2012.

A challenge to get any images at all in All Saints' Church. Many shot at ISO 6400. Slight noise reduction in Camera Raw. Collage created in Picasa, so some of the images have been "trimmed" by that programme.
