Autumn is with us and once again mother nature provides us with opportunities to photograph her work. Here we have the fruits from the Horse Chestnut tree (Aesculus Hippocastanum), the fruits commonly called conkers. Gathered on my morning walk a few days ago.
This blog allows me to share with you my passion about photography and my images. Some of the images will have been post processed using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and some of the plug-ins that I have installed.

Grandson E is involved with a World War II project and he has been asked by his school to carry our four projects off a list. One of them was to produce an item of food that was made and eaten during that period, so the ingredients were provided and he set to, with some help, to make the cake. Here is the result, it is on a wire tray cooling.

These photographs are from a visit to the Classic Ford event at the Crich Tramway Village on Sunday 19th September 2010. Talking to the owner of the car, shown in the shots immediately below, possibly a Sierra Cosworth, he gave the impression that the car looked as sparkling underneath the vehicle as it does in the engine compartment. It had been driven down to Crich from Sheffield at a stately 40 miles per hour, to cut down on the spray.
Another immaculately turned out Ford.
Amusing number plate.
